This is an article from BBC, titled “Study finds four in 10 in UK would use AI counsellor.” It explains the statistics in percentages for the people who would trust AI to be their doctor or counsellor. It relates to my life because I like to rant/talk to my friends about a lot of things, but I wouldn’t trust AI with all the information I tell my friends. I think what these people are doing is reasonable because sometimes you don’t feel comfortable or have anybody to talk to and AI is a good solution to that.

This is an article from BBC, titled “Will food delivery robots help or hinder workers?” It talks about how food delivery robots are starting to help out in an asian restaurant, Koji. Then how there have been some problems with it like how it took a kid. Some people in the article say that they are pleased with the change and some say the robots are a bit crazy and they are gonna take a lot of people’s jobs. But I think that with more manufacturing the robots will be very useful and the actual humans can work in the store and restaurant work will become very efficient.

In the article, titled “Her husband wanted to use ChatGPT to create sustainable housing. Then it took over his life.” A husband spent twelve hours a day on ChatGPT using it to brainstorm ways for low-cost housing. He never even talked to ChatGPT about suicide, so it came out of nowhere. I think this is a very unfortunate case scenario with AI use because in the article it says that in the beginning he was using AI for good and to help. Maybe this was actually not connected to his AI use and it was something he was feeling for a long time before. This doesn’t directly relate to my life but I believe people should know about this happening to prevent scenarios like this from ever happening again. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/ng-interactive/2026/feb/28/chatgpt-ai-chatbot-mental-health

This article is titled “I wish I could push ChatGPT off a cliff: professors scramble to save critical thinking in an age of AI.” It talks about how a bunch of Stanford University students resort to AI, if they can’t figure out the answer by themselves. I believe that if you don’t rely on AI all the time to do your work for you and only use it sometimes to help you, it can be a very useful tool. Especially when you are very stuck and don’t know how to start something. But I agree with how teachers are getting annoyed with it because most of the time you never know if a student’s work is AI, unless it is very obvious.

In this image I was asking ChatGPT to help me with my math homework. I did all the other questions, but couldn’t figure out this one. I think this is a good way to use AI because it helped me get the equations and understand the first step, so I could solve the rest. Also I didn’t just copy it down, I made sure I understood it and would be comfortable with doing it by myself.

In this picture I was using ChatGPT to give me some causes and consequences of the War of 1812 for an 8×8 paragraph I had to write for my social studies class. I had a few facts written down in my notes from class, but I needed more information to put in, so I thought this was a useful and great way to use AI. This relates to my life because it was an assessment I had to do for my class as an end of unit and term test, that I needed good and concrete facts for.

In this image I used ChatGPT to make a step by step makeup plan for me to celebrate an event with my family. I gave it a photo of a lady with a red dress and lots of makeup on, that I wanted to recreate on myself. It helped me with all the steps by telling me where to put each product on my face and how to make it look the most realistic. This relates to my life because I usually don’t do a lot of makeup on myself so I needed help with how to make it look nice and not look too fake. My thoughts on this is that this is a very good way to use AI because it does not harm you or your work in any way and it is a good way to learn how to do a new skill.

In this image I used ChatGPT to refine my science paragraph about the top sectors that contribute to emissions in BC vs Canada. I wrote this paragraph all on my own from a few different sources that were given to me by my science teacher and I asked AI to refine it and see if I answered the question to make sure the paragraph has the information needed.  I think this is a great way to use AI because I didn’t make it write it for me, but I did make it help edit it to make sure I wasn’t missing key details that needed to be in it.

In this image I use ChatGPT to make an interactive quiz for me to practice my Spanish before my vocab quiz.  I told it to give me the words in English and I translate them to Spanish but for the first round  it wanted me to translate the Spanish words into English. This relates to my life because it was a Spanish test I had to prepare for and this really helped me, so I believe this is a good way to use AI.

In this image I used ChatGPT to help me memorize my monologue for my drama one act play. It gave me a few different techniques which really helped me channel my character and memorize my lines more efficiently.  For me this was a very beneficial way to use AI because it helped me learn new tactics to be able to memorize quicker  and I think this is going to help me in the long run when I need to memorize more scripts. This relates to my life because I act a lot and I really enjoy it so memorizing scripts is  a big part of my life and having AI help me find different ways to memorize was very helpful.

In this image I used ChatGPT to make a rap roasting my younger brother because he challenged me to a rap battle. This is a very fun and helpful way to use AI, especially because it was used for a game and to have a good time. This relates to my life because my brother always thinks he’s so much better than me at singing and rapping and I just needed to prove that he’s not.

In this image I was using ChatGPT to write an apology in a professional email format for spilling blueberries on the floor and not cleaning them. I was going to clean them but I had something really important to do, so I couldn’t. This was a very good way to use AI because my mom was happy and forgiving when I sent her this and usually she is a forgiving person when it comes to a good and funny apology, so we were all good after. This relates to my life because I needed to apologize to my mom but I didn’t have time to clean up the blueberries in the first place or give an apology, so this would be a good way to apologize.

In this image I used ChatGPT to give me a list of karaoke songs to sing with my friends and I. We didn’t have any ideas of songs to sing, so I thought this would be a helpful way to use AI, which it was. This relates to my life because Me and my friends love to sing, especially me, so having this list of songs that immediately make us hyped is really great.

In this image I used ChatGPT to come up with study strategies for my science test. This was really helpful and I would for sure use these techniques again because they were very useful. Furthermore this relates to my life because I had a big science test that I had to study for and the teacher gave us different ways to study, but I wanted to see if there were any more that would help me study better and more effectively.

In this image I used ChatGPT to make a schedule for my trip to Mexico to make a rough draft of a schedule planned out and make sure I don’t forget to do something very important like sunscreen and hydration. This relates to my life because I’m going to Mexico during spring break and I need to make sure I’m getting the best and most out of my day.  I believe this is a very helpful and good way to use AI because it is helping me with a task that I would have to do by myself, which means I probably wouldn’t do it at all.

In this image I’m using ChatGPT  to give me a list of romance movie recommendations because I am very bored and want something to watch at my house and on the plane. This relates to my life because technology is a big part of day to day life now, especially when you were just chilling at home, so finding movies you are interested in, to watch is fun and exciting.

In this image I used ChatGPT to make a topic sentence for one of my brother’s body paragraphs for his essay. We couldn’t come up with a clear one, but after having AI generate one, we built off it and made our own stronger one, that was more connected to his whole paragraph. This relates to my life because I always have to help my brother with his paragraphs and essays, so I thought this was a good way to see how detailed I needed the sentence to be.

In this image I used ChatGPT to make me a leg workout. It gave me a structured plan that I can do 2-3 times a week. This relates to my life because I like to work out a lot and getting a plan like that to do so is very helpful and necessary.  I think this is a great way to use AI because it is used for the better of someone’s wellbeing and not getting overused or used inappropriately.

It talks about how these robots are already being used to pick strawberries and that they are converting these laborious tasks to be done by robots instead of humans, while still minimizing waste and the carbon footprint. This relates to my life because my family and I eat lots of fruit, like strawberries, so I think this is really interesting. I think this is a good idea and a cool way to use AI because it’s helping do repetitive tasks that humans don’t enjoy. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c9d41n6gv20o
