A graph I used in my science lab project. I had to used hundreds of columns of data, filtering and average using the formulas I learnt from Web Dev 10. I used both sheets and excel, because sheets was unable to create the graph in the way I wanted it. I did use sheets for the data sorting, however.

https://www.cnbc.com/2025/06/06/apples-wwdc-ai-strategy.html

At the 2025 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple is anticipated to unveil updates to its AI suite, Apple Intelligence, focusing on practical enhancements rather than groundbreaking innovations. Expected features include smarter battery management, personalized health insights, and improved messaging capabilities, such as polls and quick translations. However, significant overhauls, like a revamped Siri, are likely postponed. These incremental updates aim to enhance user experience by making devices more intuitive and efficient in daily use.

From my perspective, Apple’s strategy of implementing subtle AI improvements reflects a commitment to user-centric design, prioritizing functionality over flashy features. While some may view the absence of major announcements as a lack of innovation, I appreciate the focus on refining existing tools to better serve users’ needs. This approach aligns with Apple’s reputation for delivering polished, reliable products, and I believe it will contribute positively to the overall user experience.

https://www.cnbc.com/2025/06/06/tesla-jumps-5percent-in-premarket-trade-as-stock-reels-from-trump-musk-drama.html

In early June 2025, Tesla’s stock experienced significant volatility due to a public dispute between CEO Elon Musk and President Donald Trump. The conflict began when Musk criticized Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill,” a tax and spending proposal that threatened to eliminate electric vehicle tax credits, potentially reducing Tesla’s annual profit by $1.2 billion. In response, Trump threatened to revoke government contracts with Musk’s companies, leading to a 14% drop in Tesla’s stock, erasing approximately $152 billion in market value. However, the stock rebounded by over 5% the following day amid speculation of a possible reconciliation between the two figures

From my perspective, this incident underscores the vulnerability of companies to political dynamics, especially when their operations are closely tied to government policies. The rapid decline in Tesla’s stock highlights how political disputes can have immediate financial repercussions for businesses and their stakeholders. It also raises concerns about the stability of government support for industries like electric vehicles, which are crucial for sustainable development. This situation serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining clear boundaries between political interests and corporate operations to ensure economic stability and investor confidence.

https://www.cnbc.com/2025/06/06/uk-fca-to-lift-ban-on-crypto-etns.html

The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has announced plans to lift its ban on retail investment in cryptocurrency exchange-traded notes (ETNs), marking a significant shift in its approach to digital assets. Previously restricted to professional investors due to concerns over risk, ETNs are debt securities that track the value of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum without requiring investors to own the underlying assets. The FCA’s proposal aims to support the growth and competitiveness of the UK’s crypto industry while allowing individual investors to make informed decisions about high-risk investments. However, the ban on retail trading of crypto derivatives will remain in place, and investments in crypto ETNs will not be covered by the government’s compensation scheme.

From my perspective, the FCA’s decision to reconsider its stance on crypto ETNs for retail investors reflects a growing recognition of the maturation of the cryptocurrency market and the increasing demand for diversified investment opportunities. While the risks associated with crypto investments are undeniable, providing regulated avenues for retail investors to access these markets can enhance transparency and consumer protection. This move could position the UK as a more attractive hub for crypto innovation, aligning it with global trends and fostering a more inclusive financial ecosystem.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is the rumored next-generation console from Nintendo, expected to be the follow-up to the original Nintendo Switch that came out in 2017. While Nintendo hasn’t officially revealed it yet, there have been many leaks and reports suggesting it will have better graphics, faster performance, and possibly a new screen or design. Fans are excited, but there’s also concern about how much it will cost, if it will still support old games, and whether it will be easy to get when it launches.

I think the Nintendo Switch 2 sounds really cool, and I’m excited to see what new features it will have. The original Switch was amazing because you could play it at home and on the go, and if they improve the graphics and speed, it’ll be even better. I just hope they don’t make it super expensive or hard to buy like the PS5 was. It would also be great if we can still play old Switch games on it so we don’t have to start over.

The Meta Ray-Ban Smart Glasses are high-tech eyewear that combine classic Ray-Ban styles with features like a 12MP camera, open-ear speakers, and voice-activated AI. These glasses allow users to take photos, record videos, listen to music, and even livestream directly to social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. While they offer convenience and hands-free functionality, concerns have been raised about privacy, as the discreet design makes it difficult for others to know when they’re being recorded. Additionally, experiments by students have shown that these glasses can be used with facial recognition software to identify individuals and access personal information without their consent.

I think the Meta Ray-Ban Smart Glasses are really cool because they let you take pictures and videos without needing to pull out your phone, and you can listen to music or get information just by talking to them. They look like regular sunglasses, so they’re stylish too. But it also feels kind of creepy that someone could be recording you without you knowing, and the idea that they could find out personal stuff about you just by looking at you is scary. I like the technology, but I think there should be better ways to make sure people’s privacy is protected.

The M4 MacBook Air, released in March 2025, introduces significant upgrades over its predecessors. It features Apple’s latest M4 chip with a 10-core CPU and up to 10-core GPU, offering enhanced performance and efficiency. The device boasts up to 18 hours of battery life, a new 12MP Center Stage camera, and support for up to two external displays. It comes in two sizes,13-inch and 15-inch and introduces a new Sky Blue color option. The base model starts at $999, making it more affordable than previous versions. These advancements aim to provide users with a powerful yet portable computing experience.

I think the new M4 MacBook Air is awesome, especially for students like me. The longer battery life means I can use it all day at school without needing to charge. The performance upgrades make it faster for doing homework, research, and even some light gaming. I also like the new Sky Blue color—it adds a fun touch. The lower starting price is great because it makes it more accessible for students on a budget. Overall, it seems like a great laptop for both school and personal use.
