Welcome to my personal page, where I have uploaded pieces of works and projects I have completed in the Web Development 10 course. This site includes my works spanning all across the year, accompanied by a few sentences just to briefly explain my thoughts behind my creations.
Passion Projects
Project I :
For this project, I chose to use Photoshop to redesign a selfie I took with my friend at the backstage after a concert. Originally, this was in a bright room with a whiteboard as background, but I thought that a classic wooden wall fits better with our outfits, and so I thought about using Photoshop to achieve this recreation.
Project II :
For this project, I used Illustrator to create a special shape which I think is artistic and beautiful. In the picture is a peony flower with its leaves. I have had the idea of “drawing” a flower in Illustrator for a long time, and now, I finally have the chance to present it!
Audio Editing Projects
Above is my first audio remix, titled “All I Want For Christmas Recomposed” where I altered the tone, pitch, and key of the music.
Above is my second audio remix, titled “Jazzy Handel” where I mixed a classic piece with a modern jazzy background.
Above is my third audio remix, titled ” Miki x Dahler ” as I mixed the signature pieces of my two favourite singers, Miki Matsubara and Dahler Mendhi through blending methods.

This graph above shows the amount of points I missed in estimation for each game period ( one estimation every two weeks or so ).
Some Recent News On Technology…
I. Apple’s Installation of Artificial Intelligence Into New iPhone Generation
Summary : Apple is gearing up to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into its major apps and features, including a partnership with OpenAI for a chatbot similar to ChatGPT. The new AI system, called Apple Intelligence, will be a highlight of the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). AI features will focus on improving user experiences with capabilities like summarization, reply suggestions, and enhanced Siri functionality. Additionally, AI will extend to developer tools like Xcode and various apps like Mail, Voice Memos, Photos, and Messages. Beyond AI, significant software upgrades include customizable app icons and Control Center in iOS 18, as well as updates to various apps like Settings, Health, and Calendar. While no new hardware is expected, the conference will lay the groundwork for future releases, particularly in health features for Apple Watches and enhancements for AirPods.
Personal Critique : I believe that this innovation has both advantages and disadvantages. Firstly, the utility of AI has been evident in the past years, and can be implemented in nearly all aspects of life. AI can be extremely useful in communications as often times, people are in a hurry and do not have the time to properly write a message – AI would be able to generate a well-constructed piece of information based on just a few words, which is extremely convenient. On the other hand, many users are not familiar with the usage of such advanced technology. I believe that this could cause the misuse of the tool, and may cause issues such as personal information / privacy leak.
II. Starlink Connection With Ancient Tribes
Summary : Elon Musk’s Starlink project has brought internet connectivity to even the most remote corners of the world, including Indigenous tribes in the Amazon rainforest. However, this newfound digital access has presented challenges for tribes like the Marubo, who are grappling with issues such as screen distractions, misinformation, and addiction to pornography and video games. Despite these challenges, the internet has also brought benefits, such as better communication between villages, access to emergency services, and opportunities for education and employment. While some tribal elders are concerned about the erosion of traditional culture and values, others see the internet as a lifeline and a tool for progress. The introduction of internet access has sparked debates among tribal leaders, but ultimately, it has become an integral part of life for the Marubo people, providing them with autonomy and opportunities they didn’t have before. Starlink’s expansion has also impacted regions beyond the Amazon, providing connectivity to remote areas worldwide, with over 3 million customers in 99 countries as of May.
Personal Critique : I was pretty shocked when I first read about this news. On one hand, I was surprised by the development of technology, being able to connect the modern world with ancient tribes living deep inside the Amazon forests – this shows the strength of humans as well as the benefits of technology in connecting people from all around the world. On the other hand, I was sad, seeing that the internet and social media has compelled many to give up their culture and lifestyle which their ancestors have been practising for thousands of years. These ancient tribes preserve the last sense of primitive life in the world today and are highly valuable for us to learn about our past – it is a part of mankind’s culture as a whole, and it would be a great loss of humans if the tribes decide to abandon this heritage because of the addictiveness of modern technology.
